Summer Discipleship Training 2008

New Discipleship Training classes begin Sunday, June 8 at 6 p.m. and run through Aug. 16. Following are the class offerings for this summer:

Revelation, Part II. Robert Gunnels is the teacher and he'll be picking up where he left off last summer following the letters to the seven churches.  Join Robert each Sunday in the chapel.

The Deacon I want to Be is a six-part video study taught by Dr. Johnny Hunt, pastor of FBC, Woodstock, GA. Bro. David will facilitate this course, which begins June 22.

Stepping Up: A Journey through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore; facilitator--Becky Hatfield.

Parenting Today: Raising Godly Children in an Ungodly World is a special gathering for parents. Beginning June 8, we'll hear Ben Phillips, Family Ministry leader with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, teaching. Other sessions will include parenting tips from experts such as Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot, James Dobson and others.

Love, Sex and Lasting Relationships for our college age is a video study taught by Chip Ingram, president of Walk Through the Bible. This class will be led by Mike Sandusky and will meet in different homes during the summer--check your Courier for this week's location!

Worship Kidstyle is fun music that lifts hearts and hands to God; cool arts and crafts that bring focus on the Creator; and life-application videos that tell stories kids can really relate to. Join Bro. Lee and friends each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall for Worship Kidstyle.

Childcare is available for preschoolers.
