Acknowledging our awesome and mighty God through worship is the purpose of every service at Central.  We surrender ourselves to the One and only true God who loves us unconditionally as we sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs as we worship Him in spirit and truth.  All are welcome to come be a part of every aspect of the worship ministry.

Evangelism

Fulfilling Jesus' command to "go into all the world and preach the gospel" is one of the foremost goals of Central Baptist Church.  We accomplish that goal mainly through a wonderful tool called F.A.I.T.H.  Currently, over 100 members have been trained to use the F.A.I.T.H approach to introduce people to Jesus.  Many commitments to Jesus have been made during these visits.

Discipleship

Growing spiritually is necessary in the life of every believer.  The bedrock of discipleship is our Sunday School which includes classes for every age group.  Believers explore the Bible together and are challenged to grow.  Other avenues of discipleship include training courses on Sunday nights such as in-depth Bible studies, Experiencing God, wellness classes and more.  Courses during the week include Beth Moore and Precept ministries.  There's a discipleship group just right for you at Central Baptist!

Ministry

A variety of ministries takes place through our church, meeting the needs of not only our own members, but needs of our community as well.  Some of those ministries include: Homebound Ministry, Vacation Bible School, Upward Basketball, Christmas Gifts for Needy Families, Crisis Pregnancy Center (currently being organized).  Ministry also takes place through the individual Sunday School classes.  During times of stress or crisis, such as a death, illness, birth of a baby, etc., members support them by providing meals, prayers or simply a listening ear.

Fellowship

A big part of everything we do at Central revolves around fellowship, deepening our relationship with each other.  Just like members of a regular family need each other, we in the Central family need each other for encouragement and strength to deal with life's stresses and share each other's joys.  Through Sunday School classes, discipleship groups and other activities, members form bonds that go beyond simply being friends, to becoming "brothers and sisters" in the Lord.  If you're looking for a church family in which to belong and become involved, you are welcome to become a part of OUR family at Central Baptist Church!
