Family Ministry

At CBC, our ministry focus is on the family.

This means that we are not here to lead your family’s spiritual life, but we are here to equip parents to become the spiritual leaders. While it may be scary to think about taking charge in the spiritual development of your loved ones, it can lead to some precious memories that you will not want to trade for anything.

Core Beliefs

“SBC BAPTISTS” is an acrostic tool we use to summarize our beliefs which mandate our vision and mission and values. [1 Timothy 4:16; 2 Timothy 2:15]

Salvation - Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Biblical - The Bible is divinely inspired and is our authority for life.

Church - The Church is a local, baptized, redeemed body entrusted with the Gospel.

Baptism - Believer's Baptism by immersion is an act of obedience and covenant.

Autonomy - Autonomy of the Local Church allows cooperation. (We support the Cooperative Program.)

Priesthood - Priesthood of the believer grants direct access to God.

Security - Security of the Believer is ours through the Holy Spirit.

Trust - Trust in Jesus as Lord, leaders as His servants, and each other as members of the body.

Separation - Separation of State and Church protects religious liberty.
